Dr. Alonso Ojeda was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, but grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended Loma Linda University, Riverside campus, where he earned his BA degree. That is where he met his wife Debbie. He studied medicine at the Loma Linda University Medical Center where he obtained his Medical Degree, and did his two years of Surgical Residency.

Dr. Ojeda moved to Los Angeles in 1981, where he completed his four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the White Memorial Medical Center. In 1987 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the following year a Fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

After his residency, Dr. Ojeda practiced for three years with the Riverside Medical Clinic, OB-GYN department, where he was the department chairman. In 1988 Dr. Ojeda started his own private practice in OB-GYN in Riverside, where he still practices today.

Alonso and Debbie Ojeda have three children who live in Southern California. Dr. Ojeda’s favorite activities include golfing, skiing, tennis, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Ojeda is also fluent in Spanish.
